“國際班都是外國學(xué)生吧？”

“國際班也是全日制嗎？”

“國際班的學(xué)生英文都一定很好吧？”

這是我做完自我介紹后最經(jīng)常被提問的問題，作為來自18個國家和地區(qū)、四分之三的同學(xué)都是留學(xué)生的國際班大家庭的一份子，下面請允許我來向大家簡單分享一下入學(xué)兩周后的體會。

漂亮的不像實力派

我是在今年6月的新生見面會上加了IMBAclass的微信群，身為一個非常八卦的人，這之后的一個生活樂趣就是看看今天又有幾個新同學(xué)進來，過去打個招呼，以及點開頭像仔細研究一番。

得出來的結(jié)論是：以我這種平庸姿色，在我們班大概只能排到后段班吧。然后我就會自我安慰，沒關(guān)系，這么有內(nèi)涵的我，注定就應(yīng)該是成為實力派的。

直到我在開學(xué)當天班會上，我聽到了班上每一個人的自我介紹，才發(fā)現(xiàn)大家居然都是一群顏值與智商齊飛的家伙。總之在我們班上如果想要以貌取人，會是一個錯誤的決定。

選擇大爆炸

在光華MBA國際班學(xué)習絕對是選擇恐懼癥的噩夢，因為這里的選擇實在太多了。

除了6-7門以全英文授課的必修課以外，光華提供的選修課基本涵蓋了我們以后就業(yè)目標的各個領(lǐng)域。

從大方向講，有財務(wù)、法務(wù)、投資、營銷、創(chuàng)業(yè)和戰(zhàn)略管理等等。

從具體課程講，授課的老師絕對是這個行業(yè)的資深大牛，譬如說管理會計這門課是由光華副院長、MBA&MSEM&MPAcc項目主任吳聯(lián)生教授來授課，在華跨國公司管理與運營這門課是由光華MBA項目聯(lián)合主任PaulGillis教授來授課，私募投資這門課是由曾經(jīng)擔任阿拉伯Alwaleed王子（除巴菲特以外，全世界最有名的投資者）亞太區(qū)投資總監(jiān)的JeffreyTowson教授來授課。而且，北大十分重視對學(xué)生人文精神的培養(yǎng)，我們還可以選到能親自上臺表演體驗國粹的京劇課，由太極拳宗師陳照森老師授課的太極課，以及學(xué)長學(xué)姐推崇備至的由來自北大哲學(xué)系、歷史系、社會學(xué)系等各位大咖授課的人文精神和人文素養(yǎng)講座。

選擇的爆炸性還體現(xiàn)在各種講座、公開課、邀請函、討論會議和社交活動上，如同國際班學(xué)生一樣，北大光華的學(xué)生不僅有機會接受多元化的文化熏陶，也能共享光華為我們提供的社交平臺，擴展自己的人脈。

所以說,來到光華，需要認真學(xué)習的第一件事就是時間管理以及目標規(guī)劃，不然非常容易被太多且太好的選擇沖昏頭腦。

叛逆與傳統(tǒng)

很多人都覺得選擇國際班的同學(xué)會是相對愛玩、松散、浮夸或者某種意義上叛逆的人，可是我真的很想說，我們非常重視傳統(tǒng)。

傳統(tǒng)不像很多人描述的那么剛毅或者無趣的感覺，而可以是非常熱情洋溢、充滿活力的樣子。

譬如說，我們班在準備本次迎新晚會的時裝秀節(jié)目時，由于還沒開學(xué)，很多同學(xué)住的離學(xué)校很遠，排練完到家已是凌晨，可是卻從來沒有人缺席。我想這是因為大家真的把國際班當成一個大家庭，一起朝著同一個方向前進。在此，特別感謝國際班參演的每一個人，沒有你們就不會有這么精彩的節(jié)目，也不會有這么一個能讓大家深度交流與了解的機會。

又譬如說，我們班還承擔了新生迎新晚會開場秀京劇表演的任務(wù)。之前京劇給我的感覺是遙不可及，可是在我近距離和京劇接觸的這個星期，我才發(fā)現(xiàn)京劇之美是如此具有生命力和感染力。

和年齡不匹配的野心

我們班共有41人，大家來自各行各業(yè)，從世界各地不遠萬里聚齊于此，是一種緣分也是一次逐夢旅程，我們選擇相聚北大，是因為光華能夠為我們提供足夠的資源讓我們可以沖擊任何想去的地方。

FabianZellinger:IamanAustrian,Iholdabachelor’sdegreeinbusiness,finance,andeconomicsfromBocconiUniversityinMilan,Italy.From2012-2015IworkedatAustria'sleadingrealestateinvestoranddeveloper.MyfinalpositionwasassistanttotheCEO.IchosetheGuanghua-ESADEDualMBAprogrambecausebothschoolsareglobaltoptierandthecombinationofgatheringexperienceinbothEuropeandChinawillprovidemewithalargecompetitiveadvantage.HavinganetworkhereandunderstandingthedynamicsofChinawillbecriticalinthenextcoupleofyears.AftermyMBAIwouldliketodedicatemyworklifetoHotelDevelopments.

TomokoTakahashi:IamfromTokyo,Japan.IhavebeenworkingasasalespersonintheoverseashydropowersalesdepartmentatToshibaCorporationinJapanforthepastnineyears.ChinaisanimportantmarketformanyindustriesbutIamseekingforanewpossibilityforthehydropowerbusinessinChina.IfoundGSM,oneofthebestinstitutionsintheworld,locatedinBeijing,wheremanypeoplegatherfromallovertheplacewithgreatideasandinsights,wouldbestpreparemyselftofulfillmygoal.Inthenexttwoyears,IwouldliketoimmersemyselfinChinaandlearnasmuchaspossible.

MutitaKarakit:I'mfromThailand.Previously,IworkedasacreditanalystmainlyfocusedonanalyzingfinancialperformanceandprovidingfinancialsolutionstoChinesecompaniesinThailand.TheinsightsanduniqueexperiencesfromdifferentbusinessbackgroundssharedbythestudentsfromChinaandothercountrieswillgivemethechancetoexperiencedifferentthingsoutsideofwhatIamnormallyaccustomedto.Moreover,IcanlearninternationalbusinessexperiencesandinnovativeideasfromChina’sbusinesseliteswhodrivetheircompaniestogoglobal.MycareergoalistobeakeyseniorexecutivewhofullylinkstheThaibankingindustrytoglobalbusinesses.

Christine:Afterspending11yearsinCanada,IamnowreadytomovebacktoBeijing,theplacewhereIgrewup.GuanghuaSchoolofManagementisthebridgethatbringsmebacktomyhomecountry.BeforemyjourneyatGuanghuastarted,Ifeltexcited,curious,andslightlynervous.WhatwouldlifeatGuanghuabelike?WhoarethepeoplethatI’mgoingtospendthenexttwoyearswith?Beforeschoolofficiallystarted,bytalkingtootherstudentsfromthewechatgroup,Irealizedthatourclasswaslikeasmallunitednation–therewerestudentsfromallaroundtheworld:China,Japan,Korea,Zimbabwe,theUS…Iwassurprisedbythisculturaldiversityofourclass.This“extracurricular”educationinethnologyhasdefinitelyallowedmetoembracediversityandbetterunderstandhowtheworldworksandhowtodealwithpeopledespiteculturaldifferences.Ifeelreallyluckytohavetheopportunitytostudy,enjoymyself,andpanicwiththisgroupofpeopleforthenext2years,andItrulybelievethatwewillbecomelifelongfriends.TechnologyandtheeconomyinChinahavebeengrowingrapidly.Therefore,IbelievethatChinesecitizensdeservebetterhealthcaresolutions,whichgivesmeagreatopportunitytointroducemorerecentandadvancedhealthcaretechnologiesintotheChinesemarket.Withoutanexcellenteducation,thiscareerplanwouldbeafantasy.Guanghua’sMBAoffersthebestprogramthatmeetsallmyneeds.I’mconfidentthatGuanghua’sMBAprogramwillprovidethebestwayformetoresumemycareerinthepharmaceuticalindustryinChina.

SophiaZhu:AsaFrench-bornChinese,IgrewupinanenvironmentinfluencedbybothAsianandEuropeancultures.IattendedtheInternationalFrenchSchoolinBeijing,IwentbacktoFranceforaMasterofScienceinManagementatESSECBusinessSchoolandIamcurrentlypursuingtheDualMBAProgramwithGSMwhichIbelieveisauniqueexperiencethatwillhelpmefulfillmyshortandlong-termgoalsofcombiningmymulticulturalbackgroundtomyfuturecareer.Infact,IwishtomakethemostofmydoubleculturebyadvisingFrenchcompaniesinterestedindoingbusinesswithChinaandhelpingChinesecompaniesexpandingabroad.

除了在文章開頭描述的那些問題，我知道我們在以后的人生中會遭遇更多質(zhì)疑：

“你念這個書，以后能做什么？”

“念書花這么多錢，以后能掙回來嗎？”

“為什么不穩(wěn)定下來，非要自己創(chuàng)業(yè)做什么？”

“想去最厲害的那家公司是因為虛榮心作祟吧？”

“如果做不成會怎么樣呢？做成了又有什么意義呢？”

我承認，我們想要的，可能往往算不上人人皆愛的通途，而是要經(jīng)過不斷的嘗試、犯錯和跌倒才可能看到光亮的曲徑。我想，這是因為我們大大小小的理想，恰好都住在需要經(jīng)過一段跋涉才能到達的遠方。

我相信，光華就是這條道路上的指南針。

而我們，已經(jīng)準備好了。
