"He will introduce and discuss biodiversity finance, explain and analyze future directions and potential risks in the field, and present the framework he has proposed to guide the industry in measuring the risks associated with biodiversity loss.

安德魯·卡羅利也是康奈爾大學文理學院的經(jīng)濟學教授?？_利教授是投資管理領域的學者，專門研究國際金融市場。他在《金融學雜志》、《金融經(jīng)濟學雜志》和《金融研究評論》等金融和經(jīng)濟學期刊上發(fā)表了大量論文，并出版了多部著作和專著，包括 2015 年出版的《破解新興市場之謎》一書。

Andrew Karolyi is also a professor of economics in Cornell's College of Arts and Sciences. Professor Karolyi is a scholar in the area of investment management with a specialization in the study of international financial markets. He has published extensively in journals in finance and economics, including the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics and Review of Financial Studies, and has published several books and monographs, including his 2015 book Cracking the Emerging Markets Enigma.

His research is featured in print and electronic media, including The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, The Economist, Time, New York Times, Washington Post, Forbes, BusinessWeek, and CNBC. Karolyi also completed a four-year term as executive editor of the Review of Financial Studies, one of the top-tier journals in finance. He has served as an associate editor for a variety of journals, including the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Empirical Finance, Journal of Banking and Finance, Review of Finance and the Pacific Basin Finance Journal. He is a recipient of the Michael Jensen Prize for Corporate Finance and Organizations (2017), the Fama/DFA Prize for Capital Markets and Asset Pricing (2005), the William F. Sharpe Award for Scholarship in Finance (2001), the Journal of Empirical Finance's Biennial Best Paper Prize (2006), and Johnson School's Prize for Excellence in Research (2010).

He has led various executive education programs in the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Asia, and is actively involved in consulting with corporations, banks, investment firms, stock exchanges, and law firms. Karolyi is a newly elected board member of Responsible Research in Business and Management (RRBM) and the UN’s Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME). He also serves as a Global Advisory Councilor for Accounting for Sustainability (A4S), and an Academic Advisory Councilor for the Kroner Center for Financial Research. He currently serves as a director of the American Finance Association, is past president of the Western Finance Association, and is past chairperson of the board of trustees and past president of the Financial Management Association International.

Karolyi received his BA (Honors) in economics from McGill University and worked at the Bank of Canada for several years in its research department. He subsequently earned his MBA and PhD degrees in finance at the Graduate School of Business of the University of Chicago.

劉俏教授，北京大學光華管理學院院長、金融學系教授、博士生導師，國家“十四五”規(guī)劃專家委員會委員，教育部長江學者特聘教授，國家自然科學基金杰出青年基金獲得者, 2017年《中國新聞周刊》“影響中國”年度經(jīng)濟學家。劉俏教授在公司金融、實證資產(chǎn)定價、市場微觀結構與中國經(jīng)濟研究等方面擁有眾多著述,其最新著作包括《我們熱愛的金融：重塑我們這個時代的中國金融》、《從大到偉大2.0——重塑中國高質(zhì)量發(fā)展的微觀基礎》、Corporate China 2.0: The Great Shakeup與Finance in Asia: Institutions, Regulation and Policy。在2001年至2003年間，曾任職于麥肯錫公司，負責麥肯錫在亞洲企業(yè)金融領域的研究，并為大型亞洲公司和跨國公司提供服務。加入北大光華前，曾任教于香港大學經(jīng)濟與工商管理學院，并獲港大終身教職。

Professor LIU Qiao is the Dean and Professor of Finance at Guanghua School of Management, Peking University. He is a leading authority in economics and finance in China, and is recognized for his academic works in corporate finance, financial markets, and the Chinese economy. He is the author of “The Finance We Love: Rebuilding China’s Finance in the New Era”, “Big to Brilliant 2.0: Reconstructing the Underpinnings of China’s High-Quality Development”, “Corporate China 2.0: The Great Shakeup” and “Finance in Asia: Institutions, Regulation and Policy”. Professor LIU is the Chang Jiang Scholar Special Term Professor awarded by the Ministry of Education, the Distinguished Young Scholar awarded by National Science Foundation, and the Most Influential Chinese Economist of 2017 awarded by China Newsweek. He worked at McKinsey & Company from 2001 to 2003, where he advised various MNCs and leading Asian companies on corporate finance and strategies. Before joined Guanghua, he taught in the Faculty of Business & Economics of HKU and was tenured.
